Darkan’s Landcare achievements

Last week the BBG held 2 events in Darkan to promote and educate the community on the Threatened Red-Tailed Phascogale. The first event was a community workshop held in Darkan Town Hall, with speakers Gen Harvey, WWLCZ and Angela Sanders, Bush Heritage Australia. Both ladies were extremely interesting gave the community a fantastic insight into the species and what they have been doing to help preserve it.

Coffee Pod Recycling Competition

The BBG are now an official recycling depot for Nespresso’s Coffee Pods. Used pods can be dropped off at the BBG Office at 19 Bridge St, Boyup Brook from Monday to Wednesday or any time the sign is out.
