Volunteers Are Blackwood’s Best

The Blackwood Basin Group (BBG) held a morning tea for the macroinvertebrate citizen scientist volunteers at Tasty Edibles in Greenbushes.

For the last two years the Blackwood Basin Group has been gratefully accepting help from a dedicated group of volunteers.  Every week they meet up at the Greenbushes Community Gardens to collect, process, preserve, and identify the insects inhabiting the Greenbushes wetlands as a part of the federally funded Priority Bittern and Waterbird project.
