Fish Emulsion Demonstration

The BBG’s Fish Emulsion Demonstration project was completed in 2013 however, we have received funding to continue the Fish Emulsion Project. You can track its progress on the AgTrialSites website.
The project used a liquid fish emulsion product as an alternative method to lessen the stubble burden in cropping by improving palatability for stock and stimulating soil microbiology to increase the rate of stubble breakdown. The liquid also adds important trace elements to the soil and increases stored soil carbon.
