The Blackwood Basin Group will be running one more Monitoring Kit Education Program in 2013.
Thursday 28th February, in Kojonup from 9am – 3.30pm.
Open to all members of the community, the program consists of a free one-day workshop to educate participants on the use of the monitoring equipment in the kit. Participants are able to take home a monitoring kit at a highly subsidised price.
The aim of the program is to enable landholders to take basic monitoring of their properties into their own hands by using systematic but practical methods. The kit contains equipment to monitor many aspects of land, water and atmospheric conditions including a pH or EC (salinity) meter.
“Positive feedback from past workshop participants has proven that there is an increase in awareness and better understanding of on-property issues;” says Sara Dulex, BBG Project Officer.
Places are limited so reserve your place in the workshop and a monitoring kit now.
RSVP to Sara by the 15th February at the BBG office on 9765 1555 or email Project Officer Sara Dulex.
For more information, please contact the BBG on 9765 1555 for more details.
This project is supported by funding from the Norman Wettenhall Foundation and the South West Catchments Council, through funding from the Australian Government’s Caring for our Country and the Government of Western Australia.
