Regenerating the Wattle Creek Catchment

Four farmers in the Wattle Creek Catchment in the Kojonup Shire area undertook conservation work to improve salt-affected land and remnant or creekline vegetation to improve catchment health and preserve the biodiversity of the area.
The farmers, many of whom have undertaken conservation work in the past, fenced remnant stands of vegetation or low-lying salt-affected creeklines to exclude stock and allow natural regeneration, as well as revegetating where necessary with local native seedlings.
